Spaces that feel personal
Create communities with channels, roles and invite controls. Shape how members gather, rather than organizing everything around a public feed.
Real communities deserve a space of their own. Recline is an independently developed, self-funded platform for people who want smaller, more meaningful online communities—without sacrificing core communication tools or clarity about privacy.
Recline is being built for creators and their most committed members. The goal is a private community space where conversations, participation and recognition can belong together.

Text, direct messages and voice/video experiences form the core of the open beta. The aim is to make the basics dependable and welcoming.
Sparks and member participation help communities recognize activity. The financial side has additional safeguards and is being reviewed separately.
Recline is currently developed as a self-funded, unincorporated project. It is being developed in public beta while its reliability, privacy and sustainable business model are tested with real people. It is not presented as a registered company or an investor-backed startup.
Recline's beta aims to keep everyday chat, voice and video accessible. The product is not built around targeted ads or selling user content.
Sparks, visual enhancements and the advertised Founding Supporter programme are paths being explored to support infrastructure and development. These are not claims of existing revenue or guaranteed payouts.
Message-text encryption and other privacy protections are important to Recline, but the service also retains necessary metadata, attachments sit outside current text E2EE protections, and the project has not completed an independent security audit. Read the documented limitations before relying on it for sensitive conversations.
